With over 50 years of experience, Draht-Linder can be considered as THE specialist for steel strapping and wire within LINDER Seevetal packaging group. In the field of steel strapping, we offer bright, standard and high tensile steel strapping as well as corresponding strapping tools, metal seals, and strapping dispensers for steel strapping. Our wire product range comprises stitching wire - also carton stitching wire for the cardboard industry -, brush wire, clip wire, and baling wire (also known as annealed binding wire).
For several applications, steel strapping is still necessary - e.g. for heavy duty, or hot products or those with sharp edges.

Brush wire is a special low carbon iron wire that is softer than stitching wire.
Baling wire is used with semi-automatic baling press machines. It is made of single, cut to length wires with a loop at the end that is put around the bales manually and then twisted.
Cardboard stitching wire is mainly manufactured in two types: coppered (red-bright or stanox) or galvanized.
Several wire dispensers are available for our wire products, guaranteeing a trouble-free processing.
Steel strapping for securing of heavy loads
For extremely heavy, hot or sharp packaging goods, there is still no alternative to steel strapping. Steel strapping tools are available with and without seals. Depending on required rust protection, you can choose among bright steel strapping, blue-annealed, black- or zinc-painted steel strap.

Tensioners, sealers and combination strapping tools for steel strapping can be differentiated along two dimensions: use for either flat or round packaging goods. If there is no or only a small surface for placing the strapping tool (= round packaging goods), metal seals are required. With flat packaging goods, sealless strapping tools can be used where no seal is required.
